Course Overview

FireSkill is operated by serving senior fire officers so you know that the training given to your staff will always be current, informative and delivered with experience gained from many years of frontline firefighting. Our instructors are qualified specialists in their own fields and all possess D32 and D33 assessor qualifications, having taught at the national fire service training college at Moreton-in -Marsh.

We understand how important your staff are to you and pride ourselves on creating a learning environment where individuals are assured of understanding the importance of their role within your organisation. Our instructors deliver the subject in an interactive environment utilising exercises and practical sessions to demonstrate understanding and awareness of the subject.

Our course will accommodate up to a maximum of 12 delegates held on your premises, an overhead projector and TV/Video unit are usually sufficient. However we can provide these if we are advised in advance.

Do you have any specific requests? Not a problem, your instructor will discuss any special needs or requirements you may have before hand usually at no extra charge. In other words a course designed specifically for you, your staff and your premises.

Additional fire extinguisher training can also be provided, this will add approximately 1hour to the course duration and will incur an additional cost. Awareness and use of extinguishers is covered theoretically in our basic course.
